• New Partnership with Politico

Last week, we announced the exciting new partnership between Politico’s Women Rule and The Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Women’s Initiative.

As part of that partnership, Politico’s Anna Palmer recorded an episode of the Women Rule podcast at the STEP Ahead Awards last week in which she talked with Framebridge Founder and CEO Susan Tynan. The podcast is now live!

The partnership will continue with a series of regional STEP Forward events throughout the year—all aimed at closing the gender gap in manufacturing and spotlighting the high-paying, high-tech career opportunities for women in the industry.
  • STEP Ahead Awards -- One week out!

We are so excited to welcome our 130 Honorees and Emerging Leaders to DC next week -- and in the peak of Cherry Blossom season!  Our Honorees and Emerging Leaders will participate in two days of leadership programming and professional development featuring sessions such as StrengthsFinder and EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Intelligence), negotiation tactics, and community engagement, then they will be celebrated in closing with a gala where they will receive their awards.

In support of the Honorees and Emerging Leaders, please post on social media using the #MFGWomen hashtag -- we're thrilled to welcome the new class and meet all of these amazing women changing the manufacturing industry!
