The National Association of Manufacturers and the Manufacturing Leadership Council are committed to being your top resource for information about COVID-19 and manufacturers' response efforts.
Join us this Friday at 1PM EST for a special two hour emergency COVID-19 response call that all manufacturers are welcome to attend.
The National Association of Manufacturers and the NAM's Manufacturing Leadership Council were proud to host a two-hour emergency call for manufacturers on Friday. The response to the call was overwhelmingly positive and the high traffic maxed our system. Sincere apologies to anyone who tried to get in but couldn't after we reach our limit for live attendees, and we hope you will find these recordings valuable.
This called featured remarks by Vice President Mike Pence, the Center for Disease Control providing manufacturing focused guidance, The Hershey Company sharing steps they are taking internally to battle the virus, and the NAM Policy Team reviewing the NAM's COVID-19 Policy Action Plan.
Following that call, we'd like to provide the following resources:
o Recording of Policy Team remarks
The transcripts for the CDC and special guest Vice President Mike Pence's remarks will be available shortly.
Please feel free to share these resources with your colleagues and members of your team.
As a reminder, the CDC is addressing specific questions related to COVID-19 through CDC-INFO. If you have questions, you can complete a contact form online at www.cdc.gov/cdc-info/ or call 800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636).
We have also set up a discussion forum on our MLC site for manufacturers to share ideas and what they are doing to combat the virus.
Please stay tuned for more of these informational calls as we continue to lead the industry in our response to the virus. Please reach out if you have topics you'd like us to cover on future calls.
