The Manufacturing Institute and Arconic Foundation are pleased to present Science, Technology, Engineering, & Production (STEP) Forward: Wichita, a networking event to promote diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the workplace.
The STEP Forward networking series is designed to provide attendees an opportunity to discuss best practices and solutions to attract and retain strong manufacturing talent. This regional program aims to share insights, experiences and actionable plans from a chorus of D&I leaders from local manufacturing companies.

Creating a positive perception of manufacturing within the U.S. public is critical to attract new workforce talent. Participants will engage in a roundtable discussion to enhance their outreach and networking skills by crafting an elevator pitch with direct feedback from peers.
