Ted Wells is Vice President of Client Services at STEMconnector. A founding member of the STEMconnector and Million Women Mentors team, Ted joined STEMconnector in 2011 and has worked on a variety of projects primarily focused on engaging employers and key stakeholders in communities across the United States in supporting STEM education. In his current role, Ted engages members in leveraging their membership in STEMconnector and Million Women Mentors as a platform to develop and hone their institutional strategies, to share their impact stories to the diverse audiences, and to build high yield connections.
As the son of an engineer and an educator, this field is not far from his roots. He began his career as a French and Spanish teacher after attending Washington and Lee University. After 6 years as a teacher, Ted attended graduate school in International Affairs at the Elliott School at The George Washington University focusing on International Economic Affairs and International Development. He lives in the Park View neighborhood in Washington DC.
